ROLL SHUTTERS


Roll shutters are either manually operated with a crank or an electrical motor. The slats roll up into housing and down in a set of tracks on each side. Older, weaker systems have storm bars and newer systems have integrated storm bars inside the track.

ACCORDION SHUTTERS


Accordion shutters are manually pulled across a set of tracks on the top and bottom. The aluminum blades fold up together on each side. The top track contains two grooves that act as tracks for the wheel system that allows for easy closure.

Bahama shutters are extruded aluminum blades assembled in a frame that is hinged at the top. The shutter can be propped open with telescopic arms or closed back against the house for storm ready position. Color choices are more extensive.

COLONIAL SHUTTERS


Colonial shutters are extruded aluminum blades assembled in a frame that is hinged at the sides. The shutters close over the window in either 2 or 4-hinged panels and lock into place. Color choices are more extensive and can add appeal based on the architecture.

STORM PANELS


Storm panels are the most widely used product of all hurricane shutters. The combination of low relative cost and easy installation are the reasons for their popularity.
